Cloud Software Developer

Innnovative Numerics is looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our InnovGrid Team . As part of the InnovGrid team, you will be part of an exciting startup working on several challenging ideas.. 

In this role you will:

  • Develop and build Cloud Native Applications to be deployed at scale.

  • Develop proof of concepts for appropriate tools and technology to integrate in the product stack.

  • Build and design robust production APIs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experienced in software development (Python Preferred).

  • Deep Experience with AWS.

  • Familiarity with Ractjs and Django is a plus.

  • Experience with Git, AWS and Linux.

  • Knowledge of High Performance Computing is a plus.

  • Basic Database management knowledge is required.

  • Willingness to be flexible and adapt quickly.

  • Excellent written and communication skills.

Simulation Engineer (Full Time / Interns)

Innovative Numerics is looking for a bright and talented mechanical engineer with strong fundamentals and experience with Finite Element Analysis. As a part of the FEA consulting team, you will be solving some of the toughest simulation problems in the industry. You may also get the opportunity to lead your own projects and communicate with the clients directly. 

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with current engineers on the team to solve the most challenging problems in the applied FEA space.

  • Design innovative solutions to solve complex simulation problems.

  • Software development for automating and customizing simulation workflows.

  • Mentor and train on best simulation practices.

  • Developing predictive models based on simulation data.

  • Performance optimization benchmarking of simulation workflows on HPC.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with FEA software such as ANSYS/ABAQUS

  • Ability to model and solve complex non-linear finite element problems

  • Hands on and computational/numerical experience is essential.

  • Expertise in programming, preferably python and awareness of python ecosystem.

  • Experience in using FEA in design validation and verification as well and design optimization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Must know under the hood details and be able to reason up from first principles


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with Abaqus CAE

  • Knowledge of Deep Learning and Machine Learning.

  • Knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC) paradigm.

  • Experience with Altair Hypermesh is a plus 

  • Experience with LS Dyna is a plus 

  • Experience with CAD modeling is a plus
